This is the personal branding I've done to represent myself and introduce my style.
It's immediately apparent of my style, simple, bold, and understandable - but with modern experimental design.
My primary focus when creating design is really, how readable is it upon first impression? Can people see the important info? Or is it being lost underneath overwhelming visual noise.
Rather than creating a complex logo, I believe it was more important to have a legible name, and that my name is represented through a simplistic and effective design language.
Version 1 (March 2023)
My first attempt at self branding, I tried to make a logo that shortened my name and had a minimalist aesthetic. I think it was okay, but as time went on I would want to change my personal representation and image.
Version 2 (February 2024)
A different take on the branding I created for myself, originally for my Instagram account which used my online username "ArchonNebula" as its design basis.
I took heavy influence from Brutalist design, as well as the original announcement trailer for Bungie's Marathon: https://youtu.be/ckI_m8bbXfw?si=k6fw6eG2Y4sZgg6K
I've always been drawn to bold, simplistic, and rule breaking design. Something about the idea of a very simplistic and rigid design being applied in a way that is almost chaotic and non-nonsensical, yet still appealing to the eye.
I took these fundamentals and attempted to put my own spin on them, embracing a simplistic colour pallet and making a set amount of graphic elements and reusing them multiple times throughout the design.
Version 3 (August 2025)
This was a temporary re-brand to start off my pursuit of graphic design.
It's immediately apparent of my style, simple, bold, and understandable - but with modern experimental design.
My primary focus when creating design is really, how readable is it upon first impression? Can people see the important info? Or is it being lost underneath overwhelming visual noise.
Rather than creating a complex logo, I believe it was more important to have a legible name, that can simply be placed/recognized, but is still easily recognizable.
The gradient is to represent the fact that I am multifaceted, and am capable of multiple different design mediums. (Digital, Physical, etc.) The purpose of the plus shapes, and other structural elements are to give the sensation of planning, or the foundation of a design.
This symbol is a abbreviation of "Tyler Wenmann Design".
As you can see on the right side, the letters within the design are colour coded. Orange represents the "T", Yellow represents the "W", and Magenta represents the "D".
This logo will very rarely be on its own, rather it will be presented alongside the regular logo for flair
